Adventures on The Lost Coast

Earlier this year we linked up with a few of our favorite adventure photographers to do some pre-launch testing of our new TKWide line.

The talented crew of Dani Rodriguez, Kelsey Johnson, and Glenn Robinson had mapped a loose itinerary which would take them into the heart of Redwood country along the Northern California Coast and into Oregon. Their only agenda, to capture some amazing images and soak in the beauty of this rugged section of coast. Basically, we couldn’t ask for a better scenario to get our products out in the wild.

These three always go plastic free when they travel, and make a point of educating folks they meet along the way on best practices for enjoying the outdoors in low impact ways. They are all experts in Leave No Trace principals and that mindset is clearly ingrained in all their adventures. On this trip they incorporated an impromptu trash cleanup on a section of trail that needed some love. That is something we can get behind!

It's hard to go wrong along this stretch of coast especially with camera in tow. The locations are all spectacular, ranging from Patrick’s Point and the Prairie Creek Trail to the famous Avenue of the Giants. This area is extremely special and a favorite of everyone in the Klean office.

When Dani, Kelsey and Glenn returned and sent us over some image selects we couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces. Time to start planning our next foray behind the Redwood Curtain! For more info on this trip, check out the links below and make sure to give these three awesome people a follow.
